Why Short-Rider Fit?
If you’re between 5’0″ and 5’5″, you’ve probably noticed something frustrating about shopping for an e-bike: almost nothing is designed for you. Sizing charts are vague. “Small” frames are still too tall. Reviews never mention standover height. And nobody tells you that a bike that “fits riders 5’2″ and up” might still leave you on your tiptoes at a stoplight.
TONIMOTO exists to fix that. We’re an independent e-bike resource focused entirely on fit for short and petite riders. Every recommendation, every review, every guide on this site is written through one lens: does this bike actually fit someone who’s 5’0″ to 5’5″?
What We Do Differently
Most e-bike review sites evaluate bikes on specs: motor wattage, battery capacity, top speed. That matters — but for short riders, fit comes first. A 750W motor means nothing if you can’t touch the ground at a red light.
We evaluate every e-bike on measurable fit criteria: standover height, minimum seat height, handlebar reach, brake lever adjustability, crank length, and overall weight. We cross-reference manufacturer specs with independent measurements and real rider feedback. And we’re transparent about what we know, what we estimate, and what you should verify with a test ride.
How We Make Money
TONIMOTO earns revenue through affiliate commissions. When you click a link to a product and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This keeps the site running. Affiliate relationships never influence our fit evaluations or recommendations. Read our full affiliate disclosure.
